Targeting Participants using Demographics

Positly collects Demographic and user information about our Participants that you can use to target Participants, report on and even use to customise your study.

When you are creating a Run you have the opportunity to specify the Demographics of the Participants you are targeting (along with other targeting options).

The availability of demographics depends on the platform you choose. The availability of demographics and other target segments is subject to change. This data is accurate as of October 28, 2023.

A. Microtaskers Platform

If you are using Positly’s Microtaskers platform, you can target participants based on the following Demographics/segments:

  • Age
  • Education Level
  • Employment Status
  • Ethnicity (USA Census)
  • Gender
  • Household Income
  • Romantic Relationship Status
  • Financial Wellbeing
  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Politics & Religion
  • Others (Social Media Time)

B. Panel Participants Platform

If you are using Positly’s Panel Participants platform, you can target participants based on the following Demographics/segments:
